The world’s biggest win in bingo of 1.2 million pounds was won by a cleaner of Hamilton. Sorava Lowell was the lucky winner, who immediately agreed to share the winnings with her neighbor and bingo partner, Agnes O’Neill.
A mother of four, and aged 38, Sorava said that she and Agnes had always shared their winnings, however much it was. This rule was no different in this winning either. It was while playing bingo in the Club 3000 bingo Hall of Coat Bridge, Lanark shire that Sorava had called house on Sunday night.
She had called house on the last number of the game, the top of the shop, 90. Everyone in the hall emerged when they found out that she had won the Platinum Jackpot to the National Bingo Game. All the players in the hall were jumping up and down, while shouting and cheering.
With her bingo winning, Sorava partied through the night, till 6 am with friends and neighbors. The winning amount of 1,167,795 pounds will be shared equally between Soraya and Agnes.
Despite winning all this money, Sorava has decided that she will be returning to her old job, and work.
