The national bingo caller of the year has been announced after a long and hard fought contest. The competition came to an end on Sunday when the bingo caller from the North East was crowned champion.
Blake Robson, a bingo caller from the mecca bingo hall based in south shields was crowned supreme champion after he put on his winning show over the weekend.
The 41 year old fought off stiff competition from five other regional winners to win the UK bingo caller of the year title, the title was presented to him by ex emerdale baddie Lorraine Chase.
Mr. Robson was awared prize money of £500 and an all expenses paid holiday to Los Angeles. The prize includes the opportunity to put his skills in action in the world famous sun coast casino.
For those bingo callers who were unlucky this year do not panic, there is always next year!
