A privately owned bingo operator based in the United Kingdom is now facing huge amounts of losses. Buckingham Bingo operates about 12 bingo clubs. However, it only makes it worse for the company. Instead of earning revenues from multiple sites, it is facing humongous losses for the past few months especially now that the economy is at its lowest. Let's take a look at the details of this news in greater detail below.

Buckingham Bingo has recently reported that it has a total of pre-tax loss of about eighty eight million seven hundred thousand pounds! It has been a concern for quite some time now. In fact, they started showing signs of a weak financial status last April of 2008. The Alchemy Partners Company, the company operating Buckingham Bingo has been restructuring ever since spring time of 2008. The heavy debt online bingo network has lost control of the business. Now the parent company, Full House Holdings, will seem to be breaching their latest negotiated debt. The projections according to the accounts filed show that they will be breaching the loan covenants in the upcoming periods. The lender is being required to repay their outstanding balances.

With such a threat, the directors doubt the company as to whether or not they can continue doing business. If they cannot repay such loan balances, who will trust in the company that they can continue operating? Such a covenant breach will give the company a bad reputation and will lose their credibility. However, the online bingo network says that they have enough resources to continue operating. According to Buckingham Bingo, they aren’t as affected by the likes of Gala Bingo and Rank Bingo. Alchemy might have lost their 76.7 million pounds stake letting Barclays control the business. However, Barclays have waived the 14.1 million pounds of debt. Now, more than three fourths of the group belongs to Barclay. The parent company, Full House has a total of 36.7 million pounds in debt.
