It was while this lucky woman living in Penvcae near Wrexham was playing bingo at the Mecca Club that she had won the National Bingo Game prize. With this win, this player who preferred to remain anonymous had won 17,255 pounds and the regional prize of 2,172 pounds. In addition to this, the lucky woman had also won the house prize of 133 pounds.

Actually, the national prize for the bingo game that evening was worth 34,150 pounds. However as she had to share this win with another player in Carlisle, the winning amount was lowered to 17,255 pounds.

This other bingo player in Carlisle had completed the full house with 40 numbers, which was the lowest call amongst 470 clubs that played nationwide. The lucky woman from Wrexham is a 39 year old woman, who is happily married.

She claims that she could not believe the fact that she had won such a large prize. On hearing about the win, she just sat there with a big smile, with tears of joy running down. She has been playing bingo for ten years practically once, every four to six weeks at the Mecca.

She plans to use the money she had won in the bingo game for her home improvement needs, to take a holiday with her husband and to save the remainder money for a rainy day.
